1992年2月成立，至今已30周年，经历了5任会长，现任陈炳生为会长，目前有会员670多名。
我会的宗旨是友谊，关爱，互助，创新，联谊乡亲，互帮互助，共同发展，我们团结新老移民，为弘扬中华文化、参与加拿大的多元文化，凝聚海外华人做出了我们涓埃的贡献。
我们先后组建了14个兴趣小组，涵盖了英语班，舞蹈班，乐器班，老年电脑班，少儿舞蹈班，太极班，合唱队，戏曲班，旗袍队等。今年我们在卡尔加里文化中心举办了联谊会30周年的庆典，为此加拿大总理特别发来贺信，部分省市议员也出席了此次活动，会员们用自己的节目向卡尔加里的观众做了精彩汇报，受到了如潮的好评和上佳的赞誉。
我们还有一支庞大的义工队伍，朝气蓬勃，在各个活动中起到了决定性的作用。在疫情中我们也没有停止活动，用网络视频的方法开展线上活动，单单视频讲座就进行了15场，受到了政府的嘉奖和拨款。
我们组织的旅游活动涉及世界各地，上百次的旅游使会员大开眼界，获益匪浅！
30多年来我们积极参与加拿大各地社团的联谊活动，与各大城市的社团的交往频繁，联合举行了多次活动。我们先后接待了国内的代表团、访问团、文艺演出团十余次，影响颇大。
江浙沪地区处于国内长三角地区是最富饶最繁荣的地区之一，人杰地灵，人才辈出，我们是温暖的大家庭，更是一个有生命力有影响的社团！
Established in February 1992, Calgary Jiang Zhe Shanghai Association has a history of 30 years. There have been 5 presidents in her history. The current president is Chen, Bingsheng. There are more than 670 members currently.
The mandate of our association is friendship, care, support, innovation, fellowship, and mutual development. We work hard to unite immigrants to promote Chinese culture, participate in Canadian multiculturalism, and contribute to unite overseas Chinese.
During the past years, we have set up 14 interest groups, covering English classes, dancing classes, musical instrument classes, computer classes for the elderly, children’s dance classes, Tai Chi classes, chorus teams, opera classes, qipao group, etc. This year, we held the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the Association at the Calgary Cultural Centre, and the Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau, sent a special congratulatory letter to the Association. Some MPs, MLAs and municipal councilors attended the event. The members of the Association contributed a wonderful presentation to the audience with their programs and talent. The feedback to this event was incredibly positive.
We also have a large vigorous volunteer team, which plays a important role in various activities. During the pandemic, we continued our activities. We carried out activities from online. We held 15 online workshops to provide emotional support to members of the community, for which we received awards and grants from the government.
We organize members to travel around the world and helped them to open their eyes and enjoy their life.
During the past 30 years, we have actively participated in the networking activities of associations across Canada.
We have frequent exchanges with associations in major cities in Canada, and we have jointly held many big activities with these associations. We have received more than ten delegations, visiting groups, and theatrical performance groups from China, and greatly contributed to the multiculturalism of Canada.
Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai area are one of the most prosperous areas in the southeast part in China. We are a big warm family, and a vibrant and influential association in Calgary.
